Working With Moreton Bay Regional Council
ANZAC Day in regional communities carries weight. Veterans, RSL members, families, community leaders—they gather to acknowledge service and sacrifice. Moreton Bay's regional ceremonies at Redcliffe, Caboolture, and Sandgate needed lighting that honoured the occasion without overshadowing it. We designed respectful, simple lighting: warm front light on ceremonial positions, subtle backlighting on flags and focal points, and distributed ambient light through gathering areas. The emphasis was entirely on the ceremony and the community, never on the lighting itself. The three locations ran simultaneously in late April 2025. The technical execution was seamless, but the real measure was the feedback from attendees. Veterans said the lighting made them feel honoured. Families said they felt supported. The RSL liaison told us the ceremonies felt unified across all three locations despite being geographically separate. That's the work that matters: lighting that serves community memory and acknowledgement, never competes with it. When you deliver that, the impact is meaningful and lasting.
