Where this comes from

This isn't a service we added — it's the business we started in

Before Lume Hire hired a single light to anyone else, we were throwing our own events and festivals — booking the acts, running the power, standing in the rain at 2am fixing the thing that broke. That's where the lighting hire side came from, and it's why our production and management work looks different from a company that started as an equipment hire business and added "management" to the services page later. We know what actually goes wrong on site, because we've had it go wrong on our own events first.
