Do you create the content or just play it back?

Both. We can commission or build custom motion content, adapt your existing brand assets to the mapped template, or draw from our library of loops and textures. Playback and warping are always handled by us.

Can you map onto a building outdoors?

Yes — façade mapping is one of our favourite jobs. Outdoor work needs higher-lumen projectors and weather protection, both of which we spec and supply. Council or venue permissions are worth sorting early; we can advise.

How much lead time do you need?

Simple single-surface jobs need two to three weeks. Custom content and multi-projector façade work want six-plus. If your date is closer than that, ask anyway — it depends what's in the calendar.

Does mapping work in daylight?

Honestly, no — projection needs darkness to punch. Dusk onwards is the window. For daytime impact we'd steer you toward physical builds, fabric and lighting instead, and we'll say so upfront.

How much space do you need for projection mapping?

We need sufficient distance from the projection surface, typically 1.5-3x the width of the projected area, depending on lenses used.

Can you project onto any surface?

Most surfaces work well, though lighter colors and less reflective materials produce the best results. We can advise during a site survey.

Projection mapping looks like sorcery but it's built on discipline: surveying the surface, calculating projector throw and lumen output for ambient light, building an accurate template, then warping content so every edge, arch and corner lands exactly where it should. We handle the full pipeline — surface survey, projector specification, content templating, warping and show playback — using professional media servers running Resolume. The result is architecture that appears to breathe, stage sets that transform between songs, and brand moments that guests point phones at. The strongest mapping jobs pick the right canvas. Building façades give corporate launches and civic events genuine wow factor. Stage-set mapping lets festival stages change character between acts without moving a single flat — a trick we've refined across festival builds including Splendour in the Grass activations.
