Architectural projection maps video content to the exact geometry of a building — every window, column and cornice measured and matched — so the structure itself seems to crack, bloom, flood with colour or rebuild itself in light. For civic events, brand launches and festivals, it delivers the most spectacle per square metre of anything we do: no structure to build, because the city already built it. We survey the facade, model the geometry, and design content that plays with the building's real features rather than treating it as a flat screen — that respect for the architecture is what separates mapping from projection. It's the large-format end of our creative installations work, cousin to our festival projection mapping.

Content & precision

Measured geometry, purpose-built content

The craft is in the pipeline. We photograph and measure the facade, build an accurate projection template, and create content specifically for that geometry — in-house or alongside your creative agency — then align it on site to the millimetre. Playback runs through Resolume with TouchDesigner handling generative and reactive layers, so a show can be a fixed cinematic sequence, a live audio-reactive piece, or a mix of both across an evening. Multi-projector blends cover wide facades seamlessly, and brightness is specced honestly against ambient light so we never promise a punchy show a site can't deliver. Content can carry brand storytelling, heritage narratives or pure visual art — the pipeline is the same, and it's proven across our festival production work.

Logistics & approvals

Towers, permits and power — handled

Projecting onto a building involves everything around the building too. Projector positions often need scaffold towers, rooftop access across the street, or road-side placements requiring council permits — we scope and manage all of it, including weather housings, secure enclosures for unattended running, and power tied into the venue or generator distribution. Every item is tested and tagged, and multi-night seasonal activations get remote monitoring so a lamp fault never means a dark facade. We deliver architectural work across Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers — heritage facades, civic buildings, hotels and commercial frontages alike.
