Festivals — Stage

Stage lighting that makes every act look headline

Moving heads, washes, beams and blinders on proper DMX control — designed for your stage, programmed per act, and operated live through the whole set.

Rig design

A rig built for your stage, not a one-size package

Stage lighting only works when the rig matches the stage — its trim height, its sightlines, and the kind of acts crossing it. We design each rig from the ground up: moving heads and beams for energy, LED washes for depth and colour, front light so faces actually read on camera, and blinders and strobes held back for the moments that deserve them. A three-hundred-cap boutique stage gets a very different drawing to a main stage, and both get the same care. We've lit stages from intimate Northern Rivers gatherings through to activations at Splendour in the Grass, so we know what reads from the back of a festival crowd. Programming & operation

Programmed per act, operated live

A great rig with lazy programming still looks like a hire package. We build looks per act — reading riders where they exist, listening to the music where they don't — and operate the desk live through changeovers and sets so the lighting responds to what's actually happening on stage. Everything runs on DMX, timecode is available for acts that tour with it, and we can sync lighting with visual content through Resolume when your stage carries LED walls or projection. Haze, atmospherics and camera-friendly colour temperatures are all part of the conversation, not an afterthought. If your festival brief extends to lasers, our festival laser hire integrates on the same control system.

Reliability

Festival-hardened gear and a crew that hits the schedule

Nothing kills a festival evening like a rig failure at dusk, so reliability is engineered in. Fixtures are IP-rated where they hang exposed, every unit and cable is tested and tagged, power distribution is planned with proper headroom, and we carry spares for anything mission-critical. Bump-in is sequenced with your staging and audio suppliers so nobody blocks anybody, and packdown runs to whatever the site licence demands — including overnight pulls. We're based between the Gold Coast and the Northern Rivers with more than a decade in AV and events, which means short travel, quick site visits and honest answers about what a budget buys. Yes. Send riders through when you book and we'll fold their requirements into the rig design and per-act programming, and flag anything the budget won't cover early.

Everything from a boutique 200-cap stage to full main-stage rigs. The design process is the same — the fixture count and trussing scale with the stage.

Yes — haze is what makes beams visible, so we treat it as part of the rig. We coordinate with your site manager on smoke detection and ventilation where stages are covered.

Yes — we run Resolume and can sync lighting looks with screen content, or take timecode from your video team so everything moves together.
