The strip from Kingscliff through Casuarina to Cabarita has become one of the busiest wedding corridors in the country, and it's a weekly run for us. We light receptions at the Salt Village precinct, beachside ceremonies along Cudgen Creek and the main beach, and private-home weddings tucked through Casuarina and Kings Forest. Working the same corridor constantly means we know the venues' bump-in rules, where the power lives, and how the afternoon nor'easter behaves on the beachfront — so the design we quote is the design that actually works on the day. Kingscliff weddings tend toward a relaxed, coastal-luxe style, and the lighting should match — warm, dimmable and generous, never clinical. The classic build is a festoon canopy over the reception with a denser fairy light canopy above the dance floor, then battery uplighting washing pandanus, palms and venue walls once the sun drops. Battery fixtures matter here: creekside and beachfront sites rarely have power where you want it, and our wireless uplights remove that problem entirely. For marquee weddings on private blocks we'll design the whole interior — canopy, perimeter, entrance path lighting — as one plan. By the week of the wedding you shouldn't be fielding logistics calls. Once your design is locked we coordinate directly with your Kingscliff venue or planner on bump-in times, access and compliance paperwork — venues around Salt Village have firm requirements and we already know most of them.
