Can you rig festoon on a Surfers Paradise rooftop or hotel terrace?

Yes — that's a big part of our local work. We use weighted bases, freestanding poles and tensioned wire so nothing is drilled into the building, and we supply the compliance documents venue managers require.

How does the sea breeze affect festoon in Surfers Paradise?

The wind that funnels between the towers is real, so we rig on properly tensioned catenary wire with rated anchors and weighted poles. Our festoon is commercial-grade and built for coastal conditions.

What does festoon hire cost in Surfers Paradise?

Pricing depends on run length and rigging, with delivery, installation and packdown always included and no travel premium anywhere on the Gold Coast. Send your details through and you'll have a firm quote within 24 hours.

Do you handle apartment and body-corporate approvals?

We can't apply on your behalf, but we supply everything approvals usually need — test-and-tag certificates, insurance details and a rigging plan — and we know what most Surfers Paradise buildings ask for.

Festoon — Surfers Paradise

Festoon lighting hire in Surfers Paradise

Warm festoon canopies rigged over rooftop bars, hotel terraces and riverfront lawns in the heart of the Gold Coast — installed, tested and packed down by a local crew.

Built for high-rises

Festoon that works between the towers

Surfers Paradise events come with their own quirks: rooftop venues with strict rigging rules, hotel terraces where nothing can be drilled, and a sea breeze that funnels between the towers along the Esplanade. Our festoon rigs are designed around exactly that. We run commercial-grade IP64 festoon on tensioned catenary wire, weighted bases and freestanding poles, so we can build a warm canopy over a rooftop bar off Cavill Avenue or a hotel pool deck without touching the building fabric. Every fitting is tested and tagged, every rig is signed off before we leave, and venue managers get the compliance paperwork they ask for. Browse the full range on our festoon lighting page.

Local venues

From Budds Beach lawns to Broadbeach rooftops

We work Surfers Paradise and its fringes constantly — riverfront lawns at Budds Beach and Appel Park, hotel function spaces along the Esplanade, rooftop launches with the skyline behind them, and private apartment terraces overlooking the Nerang River. Because we're on the Coast, site visits are quick to arrange and delivery windows are tight: we know the loading docks, the lift access and the body-corporate rules that catch out-of-town suppliers off guard. Festoon pairs beautifully with the skyline at dusk, and for parties we'll often layer it with LED uplighting to wash walls and balustrades in colour. Corporate activation or milestone birthday, we design the layout around your actual space, not a generic diagram.

Simple to book

Designed layout and firm price within 24 hours

Booking festoon for a Surfers Paradise event is deliberately simple. Send through your date, venue and a couple of photos via the contact page and you'll have a designed layout and a firm price within 24 hours — delivery, install and packdown included, with no travel loading anywhere on the Gold Coast. On the day we arrive inside an agreed window, rig and test everything, and come back after your event to pack down without you lifting a finger. Summer storms are part of life here; our gear is waterproof and we watch the radar, adjusting install timing around weather rather than leaving you guessing.
