What's the difference between string lights and festoon?

Festoon uses larger, statement bulbs on heavier cable; string lights are finer with smaller bulbs for a softer, denser look. We hire both and will recommend whichever suits your space — or a mix.

Can you install string lights in a backyard with nothing to attach to?

Yes — we bring freestanding poles with weighted bases, so an open lawn is no problem. Most Gold Coast backyard jobs use a mix of poles, fence lines and pergolas.

Are the lights safe in rain?

Our string lighting is commercial-grade and IP64 waterproof, tested and tagged, with all connections rigged clear of the ground. A Gold Coast summer downpour won't stop the party.

How far ahead should I book?
