Will the lights survive a summer storm?

Yes — all strands are IP64 waterproof, tested and tagged, and secured properly at height. Gold Coast storm season is exactly what this gear is specified for.

Do you light backyard trees, or just venues?

Both — backyard poincianas and jacarandas are some of our favourite jobs. If the tree is worth lighting, we'll light it, from Coolangatta to Coomera.

Will our tree be damaged?

No — strands are wrapped loosely, nothing is nailed or screwed into the trunk, and everything comes down cleanly at packdown. Venues rebook us for the same trees every season.

The Gold Coast hinterland is full of magnificent trees — mature figs on Currumbin Valley properties, camphor laurels shading Tallebudgera Valley lawns, poincianas in established gardens from Mudgeeraba to Bonogin. Lit properly, a single one of them becomes the centrepiece of an entire event: trunk wrapped in warm fairy light, canopy threaded with strands, base uplit so the whole tree glows against the night sky. It's the signature move for hinterland weddings and garden parties, giving an outdoor site a natural landmark that guests gravitate to all evening. Gold Coast tree lighting has to survive Gold Coast weather — humidity, summer storms and coastal wind through exposed hinterland valleys. Our strands are IP64 waterproof and tested and tagged, wrapped loosely so bark is never damaged, with cabling routed and secured so garden paths stay safe underfoot. We work at height with proper equipment and a decade of rigging experience, and many Coast venues have us back to relight the same figs season after season.
