How big are the letters?

Our standard letters stand around one metre tall — big enough to anchor photos from across the room without dwarfing the people standing beside them.

Can the letters go outside?

Yes, under cover or in fine weather. The globes and housings handle outdoor use, but we position them out of direct rain and away from sprinklers, and we'll advise on the best protected spot at your venue.

Marquee letters do one job and do it brilliantly: they give your event an instant landmark. A metre-tall LOVE behind the bridal table, your initials flanking the dance floor, or a glowing number at a milestone birthday becomes the backdrop for half the photos taken that night. Our letters use warm-white festoon-style globes in a classic carnival housing, so they photograph beautifully at any exposure and match the tone of our festoon and canopy installs. Letters, numbers and ampersands are all available, so you can spell out names, dates, MR & MRS, or anything else your event calls for.

Marquee letters are the easiest thing we hire out — from $120 per letter, delivered to your venue, positioned where they look best, cabled discreetly and collected after the event. We'll advise on placement so the letters read cleanly in photos without blocking sightlines or walkways, and every unit is tested and tagged with globes checked before delivery. Letters work indoors and under cover outdoors, and they're a popular add-on to a bigger lighting package: most couples pair them with a fairy light canopy or dance floor lighting. Bundling letters into a larger install usually brings the per-letter price down, so ask when you enquire.
