What happens if it rains?

The lighting keeps working — IP64 fixtures and weatherproof power are standard on every outdoor job. For severe weather we build a contingency plan with you during quoting, not on the morning of the event.

Our site has no power. Can you still light it?

Yes — we regularly run generator power with proper distribution and RCD protection for remote hinterland and greenfield sites. Flag it early so it's in the quote.

Do you need to visit the site first?

For most installs, yes — or detailed photos with measurements as a minimum. Spans, anchor points and access determine the engineering, and accurate quotes need accurate inputs.

How long before the event do you install?

Typically the day before, or the morning of for smaller jobs. Multi-day festivals get a scheduled bump-in. Everything is tested at night wherever the schedule allows.

Outdoor lighting installation is a different discipline to venue work. There are no rated rigging points until you create them, no house power until you distribute it, and no shelter for anything electrical unless the gear was built for weather. Everything we install outdoors runs IP64-rated fixtures, weatherproof connections and RCD-protected power distribution, with catenary wires, poles and structures engineered for the spans and wind loads involved — not zip ties and optimism. Every item is tested and tagged before it leaves the warehouse. It's the standard behind our festoon and tree lighting installs, and it's why our outdoor work looks as good on a stormy night as in the brochure.

The install catalogue covers everything an outdoor event needs. Festoon and string-light canopies over dining and dance areas. Tree uplighting and canopy wraps that turn a property's best features into the venue's architecture. Feature and façade washing for buildings and structures. Path, marquee and amenity lighting so guests move safely after dark — the unglamorous layer that separates professionals from someone's mate with a ladder. And full festival site lighting, from stage surrounds to back-of-house. Installations at height are handled by ticketed crew through our working at heights service, and larger builds fold into a complete lighting design so the site reads as one considered picture.

Because greenfield sites vary wildly, we quote from a site visit or a thorough set of photos and measurements — distances, power availability and anchor points change the engineering, and we'd rather quote accurately than surprise you later. We install across the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Brisbane and the Northern Rivers, from private hinterland properties to full festival sites, and weather-contingency planning is built into every job rather than sold as an extra.
