Do you know the Byron wedding venues?

Most of them — we're in Byron most weeks and have rigged estates across Ewingsdale, Coorabell, Federal and Broken Head. If we haven't seen yours, a site visit is easy to arrange.

Can you light an off-grid hinterland property?

Yes — generator power, freestanding rigging and weatherproof gear make off-grid estates standard work. Tell us about access and we'll plan vehicles to suit the driveway.

What does Byron event lighting cost?

Similar to our Gold Coast pricing — Byron is core territory, not a travel-premium destination. Quotes with firm numbers come back within 24 hours.

Can you handle both the romantic dinner and the party after?

That pivot is designed in — warm, styled lighting through ceremony and dinner, then dance floor and colour that arrive when the party starts, all on one control plan.

Do you work with Byron stylists and planners?

Constantly — we're happy slotting into a stylist's vision or leading the lighting design ourselves, and we coordinate bump-in with the whole vendor team.

Lighting — Byron Bay

Event lighting hire in Byron Bay

Hinterland wedding estates, beachside venues, backyard gatherings and festival sites — considered event lighting from a crew that's in Byron every week.

Byron regulars

We already know your venue

Byron's event scene is world-famous and oddly small at the same time — a constellation of hinterland wedding estates around Ewingsdale, Coorabell and Federal, beachside venues in town, and properties down through Broken Head and Suffolk Park that host everything from elopements to multi-day celebrations. We're in Byron most weeks, including ongoing production work at Beach Club Byron Bay, so odds are good we've rigged your venue or one exactly like it. That familiarity shows up as practical value: we know which estates have rigging points and which need freestanding poles, where power actually lives on the big lawns, and how venues like their packdowns run. The full event lighting services range covers every layer we bring.

The Byron look

Warm, organic and never overdone

Byron events have a strong aesthetic gravity — warm and organic, styled but not stiff, with lighting that flatters rather than performs. Our staple Byron kit reads exactly that way: festoon canopies over long tables, fairy light through fig trees and along ridgelines, warm uplighting on timber and stone, and candle-adjacent colour temperatures throughout. But Byron also likes to party once the speeches finish, and we build that pivot into the design — dance floor lighting that arrives with the first song rather than glaring all through dinner. For events wanting more, the crossover into our creative installations is natural here: UV zones, generative visuals and immersive builds land brilliantly with Byron crowds. Weddings, brand retreats, private festivals — same design care throughout, and the product range shows the building blocks.

Off-grid sites and wet-season sense

Behind Byron's postcard is terrain that tests event suppliers: estate driveways that defeat large trucks, big lawns a long way from a power point, ridge-top sites that catch real wind, and a wet season that can turn access paddocks to soup. We plan for all of it — generator power specced to the load, IP64-rated fixtures and elevated cabling, wind-rated freestanding rigging, and install schedules with weather contingency built in. Every unit is tested and tagged and our NSW compliance is in order for venue and council requirements. Being based between the Gold Coast and Byron keeps travel short and site visits easy. Send your venue and date through the contact page for a design and firm price within 24 hours — and for full festival sites, see festival lighting Byron Bay.
