How much does TouchDesigner work cost?

From $1,995 for an audio-reactive build with show operation. Interactive and multi-sensor installations are quoted on development scope — send the idea and we'll respond within 24 hours.

What's the difference between this and normal event visuals?

Normal visuals are pre-rendered files played back. TouchDesigner generates imagery live, so it can react to music, movement and data in real time and never loops. It's custom software, not a video file.

How much lead time do you need?

Three to six weeks depending on complexity. Audio-reactive builds are quicker; interactive installations with sensors and testing want the longer end. Tight timeline? Ask — we'll tell you what's honestly achievable.

Can it react to our guests or performers?

Yes — camera and sensor inputs let the system respond to movement, position and gesture. That interactivity is exactly what TouchDesigner exists for.

Do you operate it on the night or just hand it over?

We operate. Real-time systems deserve a real-time operator, and the person who built the network runs it — so if anything needs adjusting live, it happens in seconds.

TouchDesigner

Generative and interactive visuals, built from scratch for your event

When stock content isn't enough, we build it: real-time generative systems, audio-reactive worlds and installations that respond to the crowd.

What it is

Real-time visuals that don't exist until show night

TouchDesigner is a node-based real-time engine for building visual systems rather than playing back files. Instead of a rendered loop repeating every forty seconds, a TouchDesigner network generates imagery live — particles swarming to the kick drum, geometry morphing with a synth line, colour fields drifting with data feeds. Nothing repeats, because nothing is pre-rendered. We design and build these networks in-house, then operate them live at your event on show-spec hardware. It's the deep end of event visuals and it's genuinely rare in this region — most providers stop at playback. Paired with Resolume for content routing, it gives an event a visual identity nobody else has had.

Interactive

Installations that respond to your guests

The step beyond audio-reactive is interactive: visuals driven by the people in the room. Camera and sensor inputs let TouchDesigner track movement, so a wall ripples where guests walk past, a dance floor blooms colour under the busiest spot, or a brand activation reacts to a wave of the hand. These pieces are the anchor of our immersive experiences work and they earn their budget in a specific way — guests don't just photograph them, they stay and play with them, which changes how long people linger at an activation. Every interactive build gets a development and testing phase before it ships, so what arrives on site is a rehearsed system, not an experiment.

Scope & booking

Development plus show operation, scoped upfront

TouchDesigner engagements start from $1,995, reflecting that this is development work as well as operation — we're building a custom system, testing it, then running it live. Simple audio-reactive builds sit at the entry point; multi-sensor interactive installations and long-form activations scale from there. Lead time matters: allow three to six weeks depending on complexity. We deliver across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers, and the crew that builds the network is the crew that operates it on the night. Bring us the idea — even a vague one — via the contact page and we'll come back within 24 hours with what's feasible, what it costs and what it needs.
